Nicole is the creative mind behind Media Isla’s learning experience, drawing on a long and rich career in adult education. She has taught at universities across the U.S. and abroad, building programs that help learners connect with complex ideas in clear, practical ways. At Media Isla, Nicole designs every element of our programs to make AI both approachable and impactful, ensuring professionals can put new skills into practice from day one. Her strength lies in bridging cutting-edge technology with human-centered teaching, always with an eye toward clarity and real-world application. Nicole’s leadership and content vision guide the school forward, keeping our trainings dynamic, relevant, and inspiring. When she is not working, she loves hiking, eating delicious foods, sipping great coffee, and befriending all the cats she meets.
Charif Mahmoudi
Chief Technology Strategist and Co-Founder
Charif shapes the technology vision of Media Isla, steering how we harness AI to support professionals in their daily work. With years of experience in IT, cloud systems, and AI innovation, he has led transformative projects that connect advanced technology with practical business outcomes. At Media Isla, Charif channels that background into building the roadmap for all our technology and AI decisions, always keeping strategy and long-term growth at the core. His strength lies in making complex systems run smoothly while aligning technical choices with the school’s broader mission. A natural sales enthusiast, Charif also brings an entrepreneurial mindset that helps Media Isla grow with confidence. When he is not working, he enjoys making music and learning about unique musical instruments; he is self-taught in harmonica and kashakas. He also likes baking delicious bread and cookies, and spending time at the shore.
